Sound familiar?

The conversation keeps replaying in your head. You recite it in the shower, on your commute, and at 2am. You're not sure if you're the problem or they are, or whether saying something will only make it worse. So you wait.

  • A co‑worker or family member you need to tell "you're not getting that role."
  • A partner you need to talk with about a prenup or money.
  • A co‑founder where something's been off for months.
  • A key hire you're not sure whether to bet on or let go.
  • Anyone you keep arguing with in your head instead of talking to directly.

You don't have to walk into the most important conversations in your work or home life alone.

Who's behind this

I know what it's like to carry one of these. Rehearsing what to say. Settling for one more day like this. Sensing there's a next version of you on the other side of a conversation you haven't had.

I'm Scott Solo Wild, a conversation coach in Austin, TX. I've helped founders, co-founders, executives, and partners get through the conversations that were costing them — and step into what was waiting on the other side. If someone came to mind while you read this, start here.

Why it stays stuck

The thing keeping you quiet was never the truth itself. It's the judgment tangled up with it — and bracing for that is exactly why you swallow it and wait. My whole work is pulling those two apart, so the true thing can finally get said, and land. That's how a conversation you've dreaded for months can clear in a single honest exchange.

How it works

  1. You lay out what's been going on and what's at stake.
  2. We find the true thing underneath, and separate it from the judgment that's been keeping it unsaid.
  3. You leave with words that land and a clear first move.

What happens after

When the conversation finally happens, something shifts. The mental weight lifts. The relationship clears. You know what's next — and the version of you that was stuck behind it, you're already past.

"I'd been carrying hard feelings toward my co‑founder, a close friend, for years. In one 1:1 session with Scott I got clear on what I actually wanted to say and how to say it, and when I finally had the conversation the charge was gone and the air was cleared."
Co‑founder, venture‑backed company

If you're carrying something like that, pick a time and we'll work it through.

Most people never have it.

The co‑founder tension becomes a split. The hard truth about a hire becomes a year of misalignment. The partner disagreement festers. The thing you kept meaning to say becomes the thing you never said — and the version of you waiting on the other side stays waiting.

Common questions

Is this therapy?

Different shape. Therapy explores why you feel what you feel, often over months — and a therapist is the right guide for that. This is one focused session on one specific conversation. We work out what to say and what to do next so you can have it in the next week or two.

How is this different from executive coaching?

Executive coaching builds broad leadership skills and frameworks over time. This is narrower and faster: one real conversation you've been avoiding, the words to have it, and the first move — usually in a single session.

Can this be about my marriage or a personal relationship?

Yes. About half the sessions are personal: a partner, a family member, a close friend. The conversation type doesn't change the format.

What if I don't know what I want to say yet?

That's the point of the session. You don't need to arrive with the answer. You just need to arrive with the situation. We find the rest together.

One conversation. One session.

Begin with a single Situation Session: one person, about 50 minutes, one conversation you've been putting off. You'll leave knowing what to say and what to do next — and a step closer to who you're becoming.
